The Sátoraljaújhely Archives of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Archives of the Hungarian National Archives was once the Zemplén County Archives.

The documents pertaining to the historic Zemplén County and the fonds concerning Zemplén County after 1950 are available for research in the Sátoraljaújhely Archives.
The archives preserve duplicates of the civil registry of the Autonomous Orthodox Jewish Religious Community and the Status Quo Religious Community from the period between 1886 and 1895, as well as duplicates of the civil registries of the Sephardic Jewish community from between 1878 and 1895. Among the documents one finds several volumes, articles, letters, and other writings concerning the life and works of the Jewry of the region.
